This title of this Saturday blog post may have to be changed to Saturday TED Video.
I hadn’t heard of Temple Grandin until recently. There is a movie coming out soon about her life starring Claire Daines. After watching this I’m fascinated.
“Temple Grandin, diagnosed with autism as a child, talks about how her mind works — sharing her ability to “think in pictures,” which helps her solve problems that neurotypical brains might miss. She makes the case that the world needs people on the autism spectrum: visual thinkers, pattern thinkers, verbal thinkers, and all kinds of smart geeky kids.”

Temple Grandin is an amazing woman! I’ve read all of her books. Her own determination, courage and intelligence are inspirational. She has also great lessons to teach about understanding the animal kingdom.
I am only just learning about her. Talk about a lesson in BEing YOU. I’m looking forward to learning more.
